Q. How
do I pay for my refilled ink Cartridges? |
|
A. One of
three ways:
1.
On-line with a credit card or check
2.
Over the phone with a credit card or check
3.
Or mail a check to us.
Once we
have tested the cartridges you sent in and know how many
will provide quality prints we will email an invoice and you
can decide the payment method that is best for you. |
| Q. Can you refill my
cartridge? |
| A. We refill black, color,
and photo cartridges for most major makes and models of
printer including Dell. (Click here for a current list
and pricing.) |
| Q. How much money can I
save by refilling? |
| A. As much as 60%,
depending on the make and model of your printer. |
| Q. Will using and I.R.C.
refilled cartridge produce the same print quality as the
name brand? |
| A. We use premium inks that
are specially formulated for your printer. If you are not
100% satisfied with the print quality of your refilled
cartridge just return the cartridge within 15 days and we'll
refund your money. |
| Q. How many times can
you refill an empty cartridge? |
| A. With proper care the
overall average is between 8 and 12 refills. Eventually, all
cartridges will fail and you'll have to start the recycling
process over with a new cartridge. (We will notify you if
your cartridge does not pass quality control testing.) |
| Q. What is the best way
to care for my cartridge? |
A. Following these
steps will help you get more refills from your inkjet
cartridge.
- Try not running your cartridge
completely out of ink, this is not good for your printer
or the cartridge.
- Store empty cartridges in a
cartridge clip or zip lock bag to keep the print head
from drying out. (Every I.R.C. refilled cartridge is
returned in a cartridge clip and can be used to protect
the cartridge when it is out of the printer.)
- Avoid touching the print head on
the cartridge.
- If you're not going to print for
a week or more remove the cartridges and store them in a
cartridge clip. If your printer uses ink tank style
cartridges (The ones without a print head) do not remove
them from the printer for an extended period of time,
the best thing you can do for this style of printer is
to print at least once a week.
|
| Q. Will using refilled
cartridges void my warranty? |
| A. We do nothing to
affect the shape or composition of the cartridge. We simply
refill the manufacturer's cartridge. Printer manufacturers
will almost always advise against refilling, as they would
like you to purchase their expensive replacement cartridges.
You are protected by the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Federal
Trade Commission Improvement Act, Section 101. By law, your
warranty cannot be voided by the printer manufacturer for
using a refilled cartridge. |
